About Us

Co-founders, Ysabella and Richard, Father and Daughter started this business when they saw many in our community struggling with technological and financial support. 

 

We can help you keep up with the pace at which our reliance on technology grows. Whether its accessing emails, video conferencing with loved ones or setting up a new phone and much more, our team can help guide you through the challenges of being online. 

 

With a background in business and finance our family is ABEL to not only cater for your tech support needs but also financial matters, things such as managing online banking, filing returns or corresponding with Inland Revenue. Where issues require more specialised assistance we are also equipped to cater for your needs. We have a range of local suppliers and contractors which can assist. 

Our People

Ysabella has been working as an accountant since leaving school. 

She co-founded a charity called Haere Mai Bags which supported former refugee students. She continues to support our community as a trustee of the Kamahi Trust, a charitable trust which encourages people to make a positive difference in the community. Helping people in the community is the foundation AbelCare is built on. While there are businesses which cater for the big things in life, we care about the small things. 

 

Richard Abel is the managing director of an accounting firm supporting over 2000 clients. He is also a member of the New Zealand trustees association, institute of directors and the Accounts and Tax Agents institute of New Zealand.
